About

inov-8 ATC Stormshell 4I love the mountains.

I run trails, fells, mountains & roads, mountain bike & take part in all manner of challenges. Provide me an element of physical suffering & I’ll probably give it a shot.

My professional background is in Brand Management in the Cycling Industry, another passion and one which has taught me a lot over the past 7+ years.

I’ve competed in Trail & Ultra Running races across the UK, as well as taking part in charity challenges from pulling a 7.5 tonne lorry 6.2 miles with 5 other people, to being part of a team abseiling continuously for 22 hours off a tower crane.

My true passion is being creative and telling other people’s stories and this is the founding idea behind the website. Whether I can inspire through photography, my own experiences or those of others, the trails are home.Over the past 9 years I’ve volunteered for the NSPCC, Help for Heroes, The Royal National Lifeboat Institution, guiderunning.uk, MyOutdoors.co.uk, Buxton Adventure Festival, Sheffield Adventure Film Festival and Protect Our Winters UK.

Founder of Myoutdoors Running Division, under the watchful eye of Dave Mycroft and Running Editor of Myoutdoors for 2 years, I’ve traveled to races, developed my review style and become part of the UK trail running media.

I’ve had written work published by the Mountaineering Council of Scotland, Trail Magazine, Anxiety UK, MyOutdoors and Lifesystems. Photos published by Trail Running Mag, commissions from clients including Run Coed Y Brenin, Salomon and inov-8.

Adventure and sharing experiences is at the heart of my philosophy.
