I’m fortunate to have free time that I’m able to give and be part of a number of charities/causes

Trash Free Trails exists to protect our trails and the wild spaces they take us
I’ve been an active member of Trash Free Trails since 2018 and in that time it has introduced me to some incredible people, taken me to new trails, engaged with new people and provided a platform to have conversations about the places we love with riders, runners, walkers…. any and all user groups who take the trails.
Our trails are incredible places to exercise, relax, unwind from modern society and reconnect with land.
Our mission is to reduce plastic pollution on our trails and wild places by 75% by 2025. Its time to take ownership of your local trails maintaining them for future generations and keeping them the way we love.

Our mental health is extremely important and finding someone to talk to, to take that first step can be daunting. My Black Dog is a charity that offers free anonymous web based peer to peer chats, with a team of volunteers who have their own lived mental health experiences.
No scripts, no countdown clock, but someone who gets how things can feel.
We are not a crisis line but a friendly person to talk to.
I’ve been involved with the charity since early 2021, joining the volunteer team in June 2021 and being invited onto the Trustee Board in November 2021.

Mind BLMK (Bedford, Luton, Milton Keynes) is my local branch of Mind Charity, offering a broad range of services to anyone who needs help with their mental health. Their services can be accessed via GP referral and privately. I was honoured to be asked to captain their Minds in Action Team in July 2021, where we moved for better mental health as one, against other regional teams.
