British World 24-HR Champs Team Selected

Ahead of the IAU World 24 Hour Championships taking place in Belfast on July 1st – 2nd, British Athletics have announced their 10 strong team to take on the best in the world.

Heading up the Senior men’s team; Robbie Britton – 2015 World and European Bronze medalist, Pat Robbins who took 7th in 2015 with 256.801km and Dan Lawson, receiving his third vest on the back of winning European Gold in France last October. Marco Consani and James Stewart round off the team, a stellar line up combining previous podiums and a wealth of knowledge.

After a couple of years tearing up any challenge in her way, Beth Pascall takes on her first 24 hour championships, following her 2016 IAU World Trail Team bronze medal.

Finishing as the top Briton back in 2015 for 12th out of the 123 females in Turin, Debbie Martin-Consani will hope to show strongly once again
